Alabaster Christmas Parade | "A Storybook Christmas" In order to view all of the Parade entries, you will need to be South of the former Faith Consignment building across from the 1022 Tower. NOTE: Candy will be thrown along the Parade route. Please do not enter Highway 31 to retrieve candy as that creates a dangerous situation! -

The ALABASTER CONNECTION and The ORIGINAL ALABASTER NEWSLETTER will publish a map of homes in the December issue which will feature a map of homes who celebrate Christmas/Holidays with awesome lights and creative decorations at their home for old and young to drive by and enjoy (ooh and ah)! This year’s theme is “A STORYBOOK CHRISTMAS”! The map will include 15-25 homes listed by address only.
NOVEMBER 9TH IS DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: Forward an e-mail to beauty@cityofalabaster.com.
Put in subject line: TOUR OF LIGHTS giving your name, address, phone number and a brief description of your display/decorations in-order to be listed. Any information such as display type, # of lights, radio station #, etc. would be helpful in-case your home will be featured in a follow-up issue.
Display Deadline: By December 1st all decorations are to be in place for the Alabaster Tour of Lights!
Yard/Business of the Month
NOMINATIONS FOR RESIDENTIAL/BUSINESS AWARDS: Help the beautification Board find residents/businesses that take that extra step by utilizing various landscaping techniques to make their home and yard stand out!

Winners for the residential award are selected monthly and businesses quarterly.
Nominations must be received by the 5th of each month to be considered for the following month.

The mission of the Alabaster Beautification Board is to enhance the visual beauty, preserve the historical values, and to promote the environmental stewardship of our community for the common good of all of our residents and businesses. By educating and engaging the citizens in working together to implement improvements, we hope to make a difference in the quality of life for all of our community, to bring pride one street at a time, and to leave a legacy of beauty for all.
