Rick Walters is serving in his third term on the City Council.  Rick was first elected in 2000 and represents the residents of Ward 4.   Walters is not a stranger to City politics, having served as Chairman Pro-Tempore of the Planning and Zoning Board.  He currently serves as Vice-Chairman of the Alabaster Water Board, a separately incorporated board from the city.

Rick and his wife, Donna, have been married since 1984.  They have three children who have all attended school in Alabaster.  Their oldest child Robbie graduated from Thompson High School in 2000.  Attending UNA is their daughter Jennifer and their son Trey attends Thompson High School.  Rick is an account executive for a local foodservice broker in Alabaster.
