Employment Opportunities with the Alabaster Police Department

Please note that most of the positions within the department are filled from promotions by existing employees.  However, the appointing authority may choose to modify the selection process for any position.  If you have a question about any position please contact Deputy Chief Curtis Rigney at crigney@alabasterpolice.org. We accept applications for police officers and community resource officers year round. There is never a closing date for these positions. To apply for a position with the Alabaster Police Department you must go to the Employment  Opportunities Page  (found on the left of the web pages) and print off the (3) applications at the bottom of the employment opportunities page. Fill the applications (3) out and send them  to Alabaster Human Resources Department, 10052 Hwy 119 South, Alabaster, Alabama 35007. If you are applying for a job as a dispatcher you must apply in person at Human Resources on Hwy 119.
