 Doing Business in Alabaster

“Alabaster is uniquely situated along Interstate 65 to accommodate the needs of new businesses wishing to locate in our area… Our door is open.”

--Mayor David Frings
The City of Alabaster prides itself on being a pro-business community. Whether you are a large or small business, we always welcome businesses that are interested in making our community a better place to live.

As you look to locate in our City, one of your first stops will be with the Alabaster Industrial Development Board.  You can contact their Executive Director, Cam Ward, at (205) 664-6848.  He will be able to help you with any questions that you may have regarding your interest in moving your existing business or opening a new business in Alabaster.

Alabaster has an easy business license procedure that can be completed with the City Revenue Clerk, Rebecca Posey.  Rebecca can be reached at (205) 664-6844.  She will be more than happy to assist you with your business needs.

Alabaster Newsletter
Each month, the Alabaster City Newsletter is sent out to every resident of our City.  This newsletter is a good way of keeping people informed of what is going on around Alabaster.  Businesses can advertise in the newsletter for a low cost.  If you are interested in advertising in our newsletter, please contact our City Newsletter Editor, Mr. Ted Vodde, at (205) 620-5505, or e-mail him at tedvodde@prodigy.net.
