Fire & Rescue
Alabaster Fire and Rescue Service is a full-time career fire department serving the City of Alabaster. Established in 1952, the Department is led by Fire Chief Frank Matherson and operates out of three fire stations with 51 full-time personnel. The Department provides fire suppression services, advanced life support emergency medical care, technical rescue services, fire code inspections, and a wide variety of public education programs.
