    Q.  Can I burn rubbish/trash?
    A.  All burning in the City requires a burn permit. To obtain a burn permit contact the Department's Fire Marshal, Lieutenant Skip Leslie, at 205-664-6817.

 
    Q.  How do I become a firefighter for Alabaster Fire and Rescue Service?
    A.  All applications must be turned into the Alabaster Personnel Office, located at Alabaster City Hall 201 1st Street North.

 
    Q.  I need a copy of a fire report. How do I get it?
    A.  A copy of a fire report may be picked up at Fire Station 1. Please allow 48 hours after the incident occurs for the report to be prepared.

 
    Q.  I need CPR training. Can I get it from the Fire Department?
    A.  Contact Lieutenant Jim Golden at 205-621-8752.

 
    Q.  I'm not sure if my child seat is installed correctly. Can the Fire Department check it?
    A.  Yes! Alabaster Fire and Rescue has personnel who are certified in the installation of child safety seats. To schedule an appointment contact Fire Station 1 at 205-664-6818.
