Services Provided                                                             

  • Maintaining City Streets-Signs, Minor Road Repairs,  Street Light Reporting, Red Light Maintenance, Maintaining City Right-Of-Ways, Grass Cutting, Weed Eating, Drain/Ditch Maintenance
  •  Emergency Services-Weather Related (Icing, Flooding, Wind, Etc.)
  • GATE WILL BE OPEN:  6:00 A.M. till 2:00 P.M. MONDAY - FRIDAY FOR DUMP USAGE.     Time schedules are normal operating hours during the year and subject to change with operating hour changes.  Holiday schedules may also effect hours of operation, so please call City Shop to verify hours.  Identification may be required to verify residence for dump usage.

 

The City Dump is STRICTLY to be used by residents of Alabaster.  NO CONTRACTORS or BUSINESS will be allowed to use. NO HOUSEOLD GARBAGE. Please Do Not Dump Dirt, Rocks, Stumps, Tires, Paint, Propane Tanks, Batteries or any Hazardous Chemicals.

 

Trash Pick-Up Details:  The City Of Alabaster Offers On Site Pick-Up Of Trash And Debris To All Residents Of Alabaster.  Every resident of Alabaster is serviced one day a week and is scheduled by their address.  Service for yard debris will be made each week.  Service for junk / rubbish will be every other week and correspond with the red weeks on the calendar.   Click for calendar. 

 

 

 All material should be placed at edge of your property and separate from household garbage in blue container (Allied / BFI container), 

  1. Trash should be stacked and put in an area that can be serviced overhead by lifting device. 
  2. Trash must be separate from yard waste debris to be serviced. (Please make separate piles) 
  3. Do not place trash around any obstacle that is permanent such as a mailbox, fire hydrant, phone boxes, etc.
  4. Material must be placed for pick-up and accumulated by resident of home. 
  5. Material accumulated by contractors or paid services will not be picked up and is the responsibility of the resident to have such disposed of. 
  6. Services such as tree trimming, lawn care, and excavating are paid services. 
  7. Pick-up services will be restricted to one load per daily pick-up for each resident with maximum load being ten (10) cubic yards.  A fee of $10.00 per cubic yard will be assessed to property owner if service is made.
  8. Trees should be cut to a maximum length of ten (10) feet and piled up to be serviced.
  9. All grass clippings and leaves must be bagged for pick-up service.
  10. The City will not pick-up dirt, rocks, stumps, tires, paint, propane tanks, batteries, medical waste, and hazardous chemicals including appliances containing freon.

Monday - All Residents between Hwy.31 And I-65, All Residents of Weatherly In the City Limits, All Residents between I-65 and Old Hwy. 31, All Residents Down Hwy. 119 and Stadium Drive (Old Siluria Area).

                                     

Tuesday-All Residents between 1st Ave. West (Hwy. 44) and Thompson Road, Would Include Areas Such Norwick Forest, Sterling Gate, Bermuda Lake, Southwind and Summerbrook.  Also Includes Areas Of Hwy. 17- Woodland Hills, Eaglewood, Cedar Grove, Fox Valley And Chinaberry,  All Residents from Hwy 17 to Navajo Pines, All Residents in Navajo Pines.

 

Wednesday-All Residents North Of 1st Ave. West Which Includes Navajo Hills, Apache Ridge, Amberly Woods, Port South, Kingwood Area, Willow Creek, Meadowlark, Greenfield And Old Town.

 

Thursday-All Residents between Kent Dairy Road and Hwy. 12 Which Includes Windy Oaks, Lake Forest, Carriage Hills, Kentwood, Grandview Estates.

 

Friday-All Residents South Of Hwy. 12 and On Smokey Road, Which Includes Scottsdale, Chestnut, Forest Hills, Willow Glen, Mission Hills, Wynlake, Green Valley, Silver Creek, And Park Forest.
