Ward 6 - Scott Brakefield

Scott Brakefield represents Ward 6. Scott has lived in Alabaster for 28 years and attended Thompson elementary, middle and high, graduating in 1993.  He then graduated with a degree in education from the University of Montevallo in 1998 and taught physical education and coached wrestling and football at Simmons Middle School from 98-2000.  In 2000 he began a career in the pharmaceutical industry and has been a District Sales Manager for Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals Inc. for the past 4 years covering North Alabama.  He has been married to Michelle Kent Brakefield for 10 years and has three sons, Noah who is 7 and twin 2 year olds Shep and Wynn.  The Brakefield family are members of Westwood Baptist Church in Alabaster.
