Alabaster Fire Department (AFD) was proud to enlist the help of the Center for Public Safety Excellence (CPSE) in January 2016 for the construction of a five-year strategic plan. Central to this process was gaining the insight of community members.

On January 11, 2016, over 60 members of our community joined to share their feedback on AFD and their expectations for the future. Over the following three days, CPSE led 18 members of Alabaster Fire Department through a process to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats as well as additional areas of focus. This Plan will guide your Department into the future and help us in our quest for excellence.
