Planning and Zoning Department

The City of Alabaster Planning and Zoning Department helps applicants with rezone requests, annexation requests and other city planning items.  Subdivision preliminary and final plats are also processed and presented to the Planning Commission at the regular meetings held the last Tuesday of each month.  All zoning request must first be presented to the Planning Commission with a recommendation of the request being presented to the Alabaster City Council.
