Zachary Zahariadis serves as the Ward 6 councilman for the City of Alabaster. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Zahariadis moved to Alabaster in 2010.

 

Zahariadis is heavily involved in the Alabaster youth sports program, with his primary passion focusing on baseball. He believes children learn many important life lessons through participating in youth sports, from building character to working as a team through adversity. He plans to continue coaching and impacting children’s lives in the city for many years to come. In his personal time, he enjoys playing multiple sports and participating in outdoor activities.

 

Zahariadis and his wife, Kaitlan, a special education teacher at Creek View Elementary School, live in Stage Coach Trace in Alabaster with their children Roman, 6, and Analeigh, 2.
