Can non-profit organizations, political organizations, and religious organizations apply for a certificate as a group?
Yes. Groups may obtain a group certificate showing the name of the Group and the leader or contact for the group for verification of group information.

Each member of the group must carry with them a copy of the certificate in case questions arise concerning that individual’s proper use of the certificate in the name of the organization.

It is a violation of the ordinance to solicit funds or donations without carrying a copy of the certificate.
