Pavilion Rentals

Pavilions are available for use by permit only. 

If your event is a large event such as a Walk/Run, Car Show, Tournament, Community Event, etc., please contact Morgan Lawley at 205-664-6840 or mnlawley@cityofalabaster. Your event will require a completed Event Form which will then have to be approved.

Several of our City Parks offer pavilions for events such as picnics, family reunions, and birthday parties. The best way to assure your event happens at the location of your choice is to reserve it early.

All open picnic tables (those not under a covering) are available free of charge on a first come, first served basis.


Alcoholic Beverages: No alcoholic beverages are allowed in any of the Alabaster City Parks!

Event Invitations: Please do not send out event invitations listing one of our parks as the event location before you have secured a pavilion online (see link below) or through the Parks and Recreation Office. The pavilion you plan on using may not be available. Always have a pavilion permit in hand before finalizing your event plans.

Tournaments/Special Events: Please refer to the 2022 Schedule listed below prior to renting as a tournament/special event on the same day/location as your rental may result in full parking lots and busy playgrounds:

Additional tournaments/events may be added in the future. Please contact Parks and Recreation if you have questions.

Rental Fee: There is a rental fee of $40 which can be paid with cash, debit, VISA, Discover, or MasterCard (no checks accepted). We cannot put you on the calendar until the fee is paid.

Rental Procedure: The rental process can be completed online, OR in person at the Parks and Recreation Office.

Rules/Damages: If all "Rules For Use of Parks and Pavilions" are not followed, and/or if the pavilion is not left clean after your event, and/or if any damage to the pavilion occurs during your event, you will be assessed a $40 charge to the credit card Alabaster Parks and Recreation has on file for you; or if you pay with cash, you will be invoiced by mail.

Inflatables, charcoal grills, and piñatas are not allowed in any of the City parks. Please see the 'Rules for Use' below for more information.

Refunds: We issue refunds for Rain-outs only. You must call our office the day of your event and leave a detailed message in order to receive a refund or to reschedule.
