    Fans of U.S. presidents and science can celebrate both worlds thanks to the third president -- Thomas Jefferson. Miss Karen will present presidential info and demonstrate a STEM project. Kids ages 6 to 11 years old who didn't get to our program this morning are invited to join us this afternoon.

    Families with kids ages 6 years old and older can celebrate the Year of the Horse at a special tea tasting event. This is a chance to sample different flavors and learn about different new year celebrations. All kids must be with an adult. Please include both adults and children attending so we'll have enough seating and refreshments, etc.

  6. Science Saturday - Brick Challenge (Young Engineers)

    Hands-on Brick Challenge hosted by Young Engineers Over the Mountain! During this interactive 105 minute workshop, children will explore the worlds of engineering, mechanics, robotics, and coding—all through the fun and creativity of building with specially designed bricks. It’s a unique opportunity to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills while having a blast with peers in a collaborative environment. This program is designed for students ages 6–11.

    Do you love playing chess? Join us at the library after school to play chess with other students! All skill levels welcome, but, basic knowledge of the game is required. Play for fun and practice to improve your skills. Registration is required and space is limited so sign up early. Program meets in the Nan Abbott Room and is for kids ages 5 – 18.
