Festival of Trees

It’s time to secure a spot for the Festival of Trees in Alabaster! Each holiday season, the city showcases beautifully decorated Christmas trees around the municipal grounds, sponsored by local businesses and individuals. This year, we’ve added more December events to boost foot traffic and visibility (Cookies with Santa, Christmas movie night & Photos with Pets), we can’t wait for you to be a part of it!


The $250 registration fee secures a tree and helps spread holiday joy—last year we provided joy to over 150 local individuals Christmas morning from the proceeds of the tree sales!

Please review the important details below:

📅 Important Dates

  • Payment Deadline: November 18 – Secure your tree at jarvisregister.com
  • Tree Selection: November 26, 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. (First come, first serve. Unclaimed trees will be assigned.)
  • Decorating Period: November 26 – December 4, by 2:00 p.m.
  • Awards Ceremony: December 5 during the annual Tower Lighting at City Hall
  • Decoration Removal: By January 5 (trees and decorations will be discarded January 6)
💡 Lighting & Extension Cord Guidelines
  • Max of 4 strings of LED lights (inspected on tree selection day)
  • Male plug ends must be at the bottom
  • Outdoor-rated extension cords labeled with sponsor name (also inspected)

🎀 Decoration Guidelines

  • Must withstand outdoor weather
  • Use zip ties, pipe cleaners, or string
  • Minimum tree height: 7–8 feet (step stool recommended)
  • Prohibited: edible items, spray painting, or offensive decorations
