Full of energy and ideas – we consider tweens and teens (11 to 18 years old) Young Adults (YAs). Besides books for recreation and research we have activities for YAs including:
Cooking, acting, and writing workshops
Mini lock-ins revealing secrets and surprises
Teen Read Week
Volunteer opportunities where YAs can make a difference in their community
As a volunteer on our Teen Advisory Board (age 14 and older) YAs can not only help the library but initiate and plan programs while being with friends.
